Highly recommend Burnett Specialists! I’m an attorney who was interested in Plaintiff’s work, and Burnetts is one of the few recruiting companies in Houston that actually has Plaintiff’s-side clients rather than purely insurance defense or transactional. Having them as my agent took the burden out of finding a new job—I was able to continue working while they submitted me to multiple firms and had multiple job offers from firms they presented me to. I’m happily working at one of them now.

If you’re in the legal market, definitely apply to Burnett’s positions! You won’t regret it.

RUN! If you're looking for a role immediately please just run away! The most shockingly terrible experience I have had with a staffing agency. You call and call for weeks and all you get is the office coordinator. The office coordinator will then look over your resume and critique your resume but cannot place you on an assignment, which is super counterproductive. I emailed recruiters and left several voicemails and no response. I had called everyday for 2 weeks so the coordinator reached out to her senior on my behalf and it took a week to respond to her, a week! That alone showed me the internal communication is off, the office is overworked and not diligent about placement. Also most of their roles are in-person and not remote so that's another reason to run! And if you ever try to work with them I hope you don't get Brandy Falcon, she has most of the entry level or mid level roles and never responds, not via email or returns voicemails so ask for anyone else!
