Atrium

The staff that helped me find a temp position was nothing but helpful. However I have been temping here for over 3 months. They have a terrible sick/holiday policy. They will only allow you to use hours in a 4 or 8 hour increment. This is sick and a foul means of control, because why do they get to dictate how I utilize the sick/holiday hours I worked for? Some flexibility would be appreciated, but after multiple emails they still refuse to allow you to use your sick/holiday time as it works best for you, the actual person working for those hours.
In the past 36 months I have now dealt with 3 members of this agency. They mislead you in the hopes of being in tune with your job search.

In that time frame the evolution of LinkedIn and the recruiter/candidate thorough follow-up approach - this “staffing agency with years of experience” should learn a thing or two from THE candidates they are reaching out to!
Terrible experience

If you enjoy having yourself and others you know be lied to and lead around then join Atrium. I was lead around and given promises by a group of the most unprofessional recruiters ever. Then was told I would be referred to “someone they knew” to help. That never happened. My wife was lied to by one of their recruiters and told that her assignment was going to hire her only to be told a few days later that was not the case and sorry if that was the interpretation. You cannot misinterpret something as clear as “they want to hire you and what salary range would you want as they do not want to lose you”.

Well at this point I am glad I found a better and permanent job all those months ago and I am encouraging my wife to leave these people after all the lies. Just proves no agency cares and Atrium is no exception! Beware of this company!
Essentially a job board like you'd see with Indeed or Linkedin. They don't respond to emails and if you try contacting them in person the guy at the front will be super helpful but the company itself is anything but.

If you need a job just get a state job or contact a smaller agency this one seems to just want to work from home while ignoring people trying to get help.
I’ll let my first post/review be Atrium. I don’t insist on name dropping their recruiters, they seem to rehire more after some recruiters become notorious for being terrible.

Don’t do Temp Staffing Agency with Atrium!

Many real reviews about Atrium come to an agreement that these recruiters rush you off into job offers / interviews , for their (the recruiters) commissions. If 45% comes out of your worked hours, they’d gladly set someone up who is young, naive and excited about finding new work.

My experience is me being a student looking for work in NYC, seeking employment from the companies rather than seek long term employment from Atrium.
They’re not interested in helping you find employment with the contractors.
They will just throw you Temp / Seasonal while advising you “talk to the company about them hiring you.”

Don’t assume them to be a good reference for your own benefit, as they would rather move onto the next person than appreciate the work you put in for them and valuing your time & business.

Considering I’ve only tried working with them twice, 4 recruiters have been nothing but unprofessional and lazy.

Do yourself a favor and look for work. They like to string you along with job offers but refuse to be transparent with you, as if you might know better.
