Edit: Had an owner reach out to me over the phone to apologize and try to explain their viewpoint. While I still think their business practice ignores that there are humans on the other side of a resume, I can appreciate what it takes to call someone and apologize. I don't expect them to change their practices, but hopefully they think about how they approach people from now on.

Recruiter Helene Barnett reached out to me, saying she had found my resume and asked if I was interested in a position they had. She already had my resume, but asked me to return it in .doc format instead of .pdf. No issue, I did so.

Once I returned my resume (that she already had!) she responded that I wasn't qualified (I have over 10 years experience) and they wouldn't be moving forward.

Completely unacceptable behavior and absolutely unprofessional. Helene is clearly not actually reading resumes and is just sending out as many emails as she can. She wasted my time and has zero decency.

If this is an indication of the type of people you would be dealing with at Estaff LLC, I will be staying far, far away and suggest you do so too.
