I knew that when this guy contacted me from Hays I was wasting my time. This man called me from from my house phone claiming to find my CV online. Then he was saying that he had an Admissions role for me this was around June. I told him I was signed up with another agency he was rushing me to do the compliance. He never even got back to me to tell me if I they took an interest in my CV for an interview. He also set up another interview with his client and did not get back to me to tell me if I was successful or not. It's been 3 months and I have heard nothing from him since about other roles. I did email him again a month later as I was interested in recruitment and he said there was roles at Hays. I got through the first stage. But, sadly got sick and had to go hospital. One doesn't choose when to be sick so I missed the interview but I did email them hours later to tell them what happened. The partner who interviewed me did not even email me back. I was in and out of hospital for 2 weeks as I had a nerve injury and in so much pain. I find them so rude and unprofessional and harsh especially ignoring my email to reschedule as I was sick. When I look back I am glad they didn't respond because I can imagine working with them I would have probably got sacked for being sick. I think they don't have any jobs it's just to get your details and sign you up just to have something to do. They do nothing to help you get work. Worse agency I have ever come across. Steer clear from them and keep your dignity.
The man at receptionist left the empty reception with multiple empty seating area with powerful air-con and asked me and another mother to stop sitting on the steps outside with some shade limited on the street; ‘saying I know it’s hot but this is private property’ on the hottest day of the year and essentially on record (plus 380C), with schools closing due to the red warning to infrastructure and risk to life. We were not in the way; the doors were clear and the few people that entered had easy access to the building. If this is what the staff are like heaven help clients.
Company approached me through linkedin to apply for role. I applied through them and got selected for interview. Its been several weeks, no response or update re application or feedback. Company has'nt responded to emails, phone constantly engaged. Isn't the way a competent recruiter should behave, could not recommend.
I cant thank Prianka enough, she listened to me, what I actually wanted and not what they thought I needed. She is a total asset to Hays and I start my new role next week. Ask for her she is a total star
