Good afternoon, the ADL opening hours are: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
It has the schedule of the Torrevieja City Council, since it is a department of the same. The city bus card is no longer made here. This service was now provided at the Food Market called "La Plasa", which is located at the beginning of Azorín Street, behind the Torrevieja Casino. Please update the previous images, they lead to errors due to the NOT updated information they provide. I provide all this information, as a public employee of said department.
We share entrance with the Torrevieja Women's Center.

Bus card renewal - 2020
**The same procedure except the hours are even shorter, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. only, not until 2 p.m. like last year. The appointment, the visits, the card, everything is the same...not a bit of improvement in the process.
Bus card renewal - 2019
**Can NOT be done online** What a shame in this era of new technologies! This agency cares nothing about the comfort of citizens and to prove it, here are the steps to achieve a renewal:
1. First, you must come IN PERSON to make an appointment. Forget to finish the matter that day, impossible although it only takes the employee two minutes to renew your card. In fact, it takes longer to give you the appointment than to do the renovation work! >> To the agency: THAT STEP MUST be done online or by phone, for God's sake, it's an appointment!! And be careful: You can't choose the day or the time. The employee gives you an appointment at least 3 or 4 weeks in the future! He doesn't care if you can come that day or that time, as if no one works...what a shame!
2. You have to come again on the indicated day and time. If not, you miss your appointment and have to do step 1 again, as if the first time wasn't the worst bureaucracy in the world. Bring your citizen card and residence card. It takes the employee 2 minutes to do it (well, finally something quick!). If there are people in line, you have to wait so it could take up to 20 minutes there.
*HOURS: The card renewal agent only works from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday to Friday! In fact, if you came at 1:15 p.m. I probably wouldn't be there.
*If your card is expired at the time of the appointment, you cannot use it for 3 or 4 weeks until the renewal is complete. So, you have to plan a month in advance before the expiration and of course, you have to know exactly what day it expires because that information is not visible anywhere and it is your responsibility to know as they do not give you any paper or sticker that you can put on your card. How much does an expiration date sticker cost? Nobody thinks about the citizen in that agency.
*At this time, FEB 2019, they do not make new cards, only renewals. Thank goodness because the process of creating a new one is 10 times more painful than the renewal process....and you have to go back and forth at least 4 times to that beloved agency and a specific bank.....

This office is very interesting, since you can request the bus card with your registration and also manage some very interesting work options there, in addition to the free courses offered in the city. Very good.
The attention is great from their employees. They do everything possible to facilitate cumbersome bureaucratic procedures. They help a lot and it is appreciated.
